The Kendall County Sheriff's Office Announces the Passing of Retired Sgt. Martin "Marty" Lincoln

It is with a heavy heart the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office announces that yesterday afternoon, May 7, 2020, retired Detective Sergeant Martin "Marty" Lincoln passed away after having fought a lengthy battle with cancer.  Marty served 27 years with the Kendall County Sheriff's Office in various roles including K-9 handler, Detective and Detective Sergeant. 

Marty was an avid motorcyclist and loved the north woods along with his yellow Nash hot rod roadster.  Marty and his wife Val were very active in Sheriff's office activities throughout the county during Marty's years of service.  Marty and Val lived in Plano and Marty graduated from Plano High School. 

In honor of Marty, bunting will be placed on the front of the Public Safety Center and deputies will be donning mourning bands in honor of Marty.  Rest in Peace Marty, we have it from here.
