 2020-2150, Personal Injury Crash: On 08/07/20 at approximately 0537 hrs Deputies responded to the area Galena Rd at Eldamain Rd for Personal Injury Crash, one driver, David C Mazingo of Sandwich, IL was transported to Copley Hospital for non-threatening injuries, the other driver was Lopez E Maldomedo of Oswego, IL.

2020-2158, Driving While License Suspended: On 08-07-20 at 1812 hours, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of Route 126 at Block Road in Kendall Township for a motorist assist. Gregory Hologa III, a 46-year-old male from the 400 block of East Market Street, Somonauk was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. Hologa was cited and released on his own recognizance.

2020-2160/2020-2161, Property Damage Traffic Crash/Leaving the Scene of a Crash/Driving while License Revoked: On 08/07/20 at 2025 hours, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 100 block of Heathgate Road in Oswego Township for a report of a traffic crash. The offending vehicle left the scene and the vehicle and driver were located in Aurora, after Aurora officers responded to a report of a traffic crash. The driver Brian Burghardt, a 59-year-old male from the 100 block of West Galena Boulevard, Aurora was transported to Mercy Hospital due to injuries he sustained in the crash. Burghardt was cited for the following offenses in Kendall County: no proof of insurance, driving while license revoked, and leaving the scene of a traffic crash. The Aurora Police Department continued their investigation and charges for incidents within their jurisdiction.
