2020-1143, Criminal Damage to Property/ No Valid Driver’s License/Curfew: On 04/18/20 at approximately 0242hrs Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a report of criminal damage to property in the 4000 block of Stephens Road. Deputies made contact with three female juveniles, all 16 years of age, in a vehicle. The three were found to be from the 0-99 block of Sunset, 300 block of Vine, and 100 block of Lester St in West Chicago. While investigating further, multiple vehicles in several adjacent subdivisions were located that had been damaged. The juveniles were released to their parents and the vehicle to the registered owner. All three subjects were referred to the juvenile justice system for criminal damage to property and curfew. The driver was also referred for no valid driver’s license.

2020-1146, No Valid DL: On 04/18/20 at 1231 hours, Kendall County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 31 near Caterpillar Dr. in Oswego Township for speeding. Gorge Rodriguez, a 40-year-old male from the 2000 block of Roxbury Ln. in Montgomery, Il, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license. Rodriguez was issued a recognizance bond and released. 

2020-1149, Domestic Battery: On 04/18/2020 at approximately 1715 hours, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1500 block of Light Rd, in Oswego Township for a report of a domestic battery. The incident is under investigation.

2020-1154, Speeding: On 04/18/20 at 2239 hours, Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding near the intersection of Route 71 and E. Highpoint Road in Kendall Township. Cynthia Villa, a 23-year-old female from the 300 block of Court Street in Streator, was cited for speeding 84 mph in a 55 mph zone. Villa was released on her own recognizance.
