2021-3141, Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License: On 11/05/21 at 8:48 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Fernwood Road near Pembrooke Road in Oswego Township. After investigation, Robert McBride, a 42-year-old male from the 100 block of Tealwood Drive in Oswego Township, was cited for driving while license suspended. McBride was released on a personal recognizance.

2021-3147, In-State Warrant: On 11/05/21 at 12:49 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 31 near Anchor Drive in Oswego Township. After investigation, Demetrius Tharpe, a 21-year-old male from the 100 block of Delores Street in Oswego Township, was taken into custody on a Kane County contempt warrant with a full cash bond of $1,000.

2021-3151, Aggravated Battery: On 11/5/21 at approximately 6:13 p.m., deputies took a report of an aggravated battery that took place in the Kendall County Correctional Facility that occurred on 10/30/2021.  After conducting an investigation, Ladale Carter a 30-year-old male from the 6000 block of Throop St., Chicago was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Battery. 

2021-3152, Criminal Sexual Assault: On 11/05/21 at 7:00 p.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of Kevin Lane in Oswego Township, for a report of a criminal sexual assault. The investigation is on-going.

2021-3153, Theft: On 11/05/21 at 7:01 p.m., deputies responded to the 200 block of N. Canal Street in the Lisbon Township for the report of a theft of an Iphone watch. The investigation is ongoing.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
