2024-0004, Driving While License Revoked: On 01/01/24 at 9:32 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Light Road near Route 31 in Oswego Township. After investigation, Philip Jeffery, a 500 block of Hartford Avenue in Aurora, was cited for driving while license revoked. Jeffery was released with a notice to appear.

2024-0005,No Valid Drivers License: On 01/01/24 at 10:17 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Overlook Court near Andrea Court in Bristol Township.  After investigation, Angel Beltran, a 20-year-old female from the 300 block of Cedar Street in Aurora, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license. Beltran was released with a notice to appear. 

2024-0006, No Valid Drivers License: On 01/01/24 at 6:30 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on S Bridge Street near Van Emmon Road in Yorkville for a moving violation. Larry Lanaster, a 65-year-old male from the 300 block of Morgan Street in Yorkville, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license. Lanaster was issued a notice to appear and released.

2024-0008, Fleeing & Eluding: On 01/01/2024 at 6:58 p.m., deputies attempted a traffic stop near Wolf Road and Harvey Road, Oswego Township for a moving violation. The operator of the vehicle failed to stop. The investigation is ongoing.

2024-0010, Driving While License Suspended:  On 1/02/24 at 2:33 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of US-30 and Mitchell Drive. Jwan D. Hall, a 26-year-old male from the 200 block of Romaine Rd, Joliet was cited for driving with a suspended license. Hall was cited and issued a mandatory court date and released at the scene.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
