U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force Apprehends Subject in Montgomery, IL

 Kendall County, IL (August 19, 2024, 2:30 PM)

Fugitive Donovan Reddoch was apprehended in Montgomery, Illinois by members of the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force. 

On August 14^th, 2024, Reddoch, a 31-year-old male from Montgomery, was taken into custody without incident following an investigation led by Sheriff’s Office detectives.  The Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office approved the following charges and a warrant was issued for two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child (each is a class X felony), and four counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse (each is a class 2 felony).  Reddoch was taken to the Kendall County Jail for processing.  A motion to detain Reddoch was filed by the State’s Attorney’s Office.  Following a pre-trial detention hearing earlier today, he was released with pre-trial conditions. 

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind community members to call Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999 to report any information regarding a fugitive’s whereabouts. Callers remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information leads to the apprehension of a fugitive.  The public is reminded that criminal defendants are presumed innocent until the government is able to prove its charges in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
