2024-2947, ID Theft and Deceptive Practices: On 09/17/24 at 6:18 p.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Sierra Rd. in Oswego Township for a report of an identity theft and a deceptive practice. The investigation is ongoing.

2024-2948, No Valid Driver's License: On 09/17/24 at 11:03 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Rt. 34. near Orchard Rd. in Oswego. Nickolas Vernon , a 25-year-old male from the 10000 Block of Lilac Ln. in Willowbrook, was cited for driving with no valid driver’s license. Vernon was issued a notice to appear and released.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
