2024-3902, In-State Warrant: On 12/11/24 at 7:42 a.m., deputies had contact with a subject in the 400 block of Bridge Street in Millington. After investigation, Jacob Esparza, a 33-year-old male from the 400 block of Bridge Street in Millington, was taken into custody on two in-state warrants: a failure to appear retail theft warrant out of LaSalle County with no bond and a violation of pre-trial release warrant out of Kane County with no bond.  Esparza was transported to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

2024-3904, Fraud: On 12/11/24 at 1:08 p.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Bereman Road in Oswego Township for a report of fraud. The investigation is ongoing.

2024-3906, ID Theft: On 12/11/24 at 1:16 p.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Marnel Road in Oswego Township for a report of identity theft. The investigation is ongoing.  

2024-3912, Speeding: On 12/11/24 at 11:15 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 71 near Regal Oaks Drive in Bristol Township for speeding. Alex Colin, a 24-year-old male from the 1000 block of Front Street in Aurora, was cited for driving 73 mph in a 45-mph construction zone. Colin was issued a notice to appear and released.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
