2024-3993, Deceptive Practices: On 12/18/24 at 9:02 a.m., deputies took a report for deceptive practices that occurred at the 2100 block of Light Road in Oswego Township. The investigation is ongoing.

2024-3997, Traffic Crash with Injury: On 12/18/24 at 2:17p.m., deputies responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries on Eldamain Road and Fox Court in Fox Township. A 57-year-old female from Sandwich and a 15-year-old male from Plano were transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Andrew Treadway, a 55-year-old male from Mazon, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Treadway was released at the scene with a notice to appear in court.        

2024-3998, Residential Burglary: On 12/18/24 at 1:54 p.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Squaw Road in Little Rock Township for a report of a residential burglary. The investigation is ongoing.

2024-3999, Speeding: On 12/18/2024 at 7:16 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Orchard Road near Tuscany Trail in Bristol Township for speeding. Ryan Paul Egert, a 19-year-old male from the 200 block of Pleasure Drive in Bristol Township, was cited for driving 75 mph in a 45 mph speed zone. Egert was issued a notice to appear and released. 

2024-4006, Domestic Battery: On 12/19/24 at 01:39 a.m, deputies responded to a report of domestic battery in the 100 block of Laurie Lane in Oswego Township. After investigation, Ruben Bustamante, a 24-year-old male from the 100 block of Laurie Lane in Oswego Township, was arrested for domestic battery. Ruben was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
