2025-0237, Reckless Driving: On 01/22/25 at 6:43 a.m., deputies responded to a property damage accident on Route 52 near Line Road in Seward Township. During the investigation Thomas St. Jules, a 35-year-old male from the 1700 block of Callander Trail in Yorkville, was cited for reckless driving. St Jules was issued a notice to appear and released on scene.
2025-0239, Harassment by Telephone: On 01/22/25 at 12:35 p.m., deputies responded to the 5400 block of Route 71 in Oswego Township for a report of harassment by telephone. The investigation is ongoing.
2025-0240, Threatening a Public Official: On 01/22/25 at 11:58 a.m., deputies responded to the Kendall County Courthouse for a report of threatening a public official. The incident is under investigation.
2025-0242, Domestic Battery: On 01/22/25 at 4:27 p.m., deputies responded to the 100 block of Braeburn Drive in Oswego Township for a report of a domestic battery. The investigation is ongoing.
2025-0246, Speeding: On 01/22/25 at 9:18 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Schlapp Road near Route 126 in Na-Au-Say Township for speeding. Walter Taylor, a 18-year-old male from the 0-99 block of Andy Court in Plainfield, was cited for driving 107 mph in a 55 mph speed zone. Walter was issued a notice to appear and released on scene.
2025-0248, No Valid Driver’s License: On 01/22/25 at 10:28 p.m., deputies, while responding to a separate incident in the area of Galena Road near Clark Road in Little Rock Township, found a 17-year-old juvenile to be operating a vehicle with no valid driver’s license. The Juvenile was cited for operating a vehicle with no valid driver’s license, issued a notice to appear, and released.
The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
