2025-0819, Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon: On 03/15/25 at 1:56 p.m., deputies responded to a report of disturbance in the 14400 block of Fox Road in Fox Township. After investigation, Kristy T. Dunlap, a 37-year-old female from the 17000 block of Peach Grove Lane in Hazel Crest, was arrested for aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Dunlap was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
2025-0819, Aggravated Battery: On 03/15/25 at 1:56 p.m., deputies responded to a report of disturbance in the 14400 block of Fox Road in Fox Township. After investigation, John M. Szlaga, a 40-year-old male from the 5800 block of South New England Avenue in Chicago, was arrested for aggravated battery as well as aggravated assault. Szlaga was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
2025-0825, Harassment by Electronic Communication: On 03/15/2025 at 4:14 p.m., Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Miller Road in Little Rock Township for a report of Harassment by Electronic Communication. The Investigation is ongoing.
2025-0826, Aggravated Battery: On 03/15/25 at 10:45 p.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Rocky Way in Oswego Township for a report of a battery. The investigation is ongoing.
2025-0832, In-State Warrant: On 03/16/25 at 03:15 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Rt. 71 and Walker Rd. for a traffic violation. Rodney Waldrop, a 44-year-old male from the 400 block of Talma Street in Aurora, was taken into custody on a Kendall County failure to appear warrant (no bond). Waldrop was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
2025-0833, Possession of Cannabis by a Passenger: On 03/16/25 at 03:15 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Rt. 71 and Walker Rd. for a traffic violation. Rodney Waldrop, a 44-year-old male from the 400 block of Talma St. in Aurora, was found to be in possession of cannabis in an unapproved container. Waldrop was issued a notice to appear for unlawful possession of cannabis by passenger.
The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
