2025-0878, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis: On 03/19/25 at 2:25 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 31 near Caterpillar Drive in Oswego Township for a moving violation. Melina Chavez-Mendoza, a 36-year-old female from the 500 block of Hankes Avenue in Aurora, was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver. Chavez-Mendoza was issued a notice to appear and released

2025-0881, Theft: On 03/19/25 at 4:35 a.m., deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Bonnie Lane in Kendall Township for a report of a theft. The investigation in ongoing.

2025-0884, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash: On 03/19/25 at 6:31 p.m., deputies responded for the report of an accident that occurred in the area of Simons and Plainfield Rd., Oswego Township, with one of the vehicles leaving the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
