Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Armed Robbery

Kendall County, IL (May 15, 2025, 11:00 AM)

No injuries were reported following an armed robbery that occurred at Lover’s Playground, located in the 1300 block of Route 30 in unincorporated Oswego Township.

Deputies responded to the scene shortly after 11:30 p.m. on May 14, 2025, following reports of an armed robbery at the business. A weapon was implied but not displayed during the incident.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a green flannel shirt, tan cargo shorts, a black hat, and a red face covering. It is believed the suspect fled the area in an unknown vehicle. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.

Members of the Oswego Police Department, Montgomery Police Department, Yorkville Police Department, and the Aurora Police Department responded to assist with this investigation.
