025-1862, Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle: On 06-18-25 at 6:31 a.m., deputies conducted an investigatory stop on Sierra Road near Saugatuck Road in Oswego Township. After investigation, Jonathan Melendez Garcia, a 29-year-old male from the 1100 block of Bonner Avenue in Aurora was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
