Montgomery Death Investigation

On Monday, September 19, 2022, at approximately 3:19 p.m., the Kendall County Coroner’s Office was notified of a male subject who was found unresponsive in an apartment in the 1100-block of Reading Drive in Montgomery, Illinois.

Upon their arrival, coroner’s deputies pronounced the following individual deceased on scene:

• Joshua Correa, a 42-year-old male from Montgomery, Illinois

At the time of this release the cause of death is pending autopsy and further investigation by the Kendall County Coroner's Office and the Montgomery Police Department. Media inquiries should be directed to the Montgomery Police Department at (630) 897-8707.
